Vacancy: Clerk to the Governing Body
The Governors are looking to appoint a Clerk to their Governing Body.
Part time, Hours variable but approximately 5hrs per meeting.
Honorarium of £75 per meeting.
The Governing body is effective and contributes to the school’s success. The Clerk will be accountable to the governing body, working effectively with them, the Chair of Governors and Headteacher.
The Clerk’s main role is to provide clerking service to the Governing Body. You will
Candidates should be reliable, tactful and be able to deal with matters confidentially and have a sense of humour. Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be available.
