Heron class visited Norwich Cathedral. This was a cross-curricular trip, looking at patterns in faith, and encompassed aspects of art, maths and religious education.
We made a 3D map showing how contour lines represent land height. We then added a river to it and labelled its features.
An air ambulance crew member visited school to demonstrate basic life saving skills. The children were shown the recovery position and when to use it and how and when to perform CPR.
Heron class had a visit to Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse Museum on Wednesday as a link to their Victorian Topic. They found out about Victorian life in the workhouse, at school and on the farm. As well as trying to solve the theft of some silver candlesticks from the chapel.
