Yr. 5 & 6 went on a 3 day residential trip to the lovely Holt Hall. The participated in 4 activities Pond dipping, Raft building, Stone age stew cooking and Rocky shore.

Children in Heron class were asked to create a Greek diorama of their choice. Some created models showing famous Greek myths such as Theseus and the Minotaur; others showed famous buildings from Ancient Greece or events such as the theatre or Olympics. A fantastic effort from all the children and their families.

As part of their history topic Heron class made Viking Long Ships.

During Science Week the children in Heron class were challenged to make solar powered space rovers.
Finished Space Rovers
Heron class visited Norwich Cathedral. This was a cross-curricular trip, looking at patterns in faith, and encompassed aspects of art, maths and religious education.
