Milk is available mid-morning daily at a subsidised rate of 20p per carton (one-third pint) This should be ordered for a complete half-term and paid for on the first school day of each week. If part-way through that period the child no longer wants milk, then the carton may be collected at the end of each day for the rest of the half-term. Milk may also be collected during absence. However, in the event of a planned absence, the milk can be cancelled provided notice is given.
Every Foundation Stage and KS1 child is entitled to a piece of fresh fruit each day. This is provided by the government, and is delivered to school every other day to ensure freshness and ripeness. Key Stage 2 pupils are not entitled to free fruit but we encourage them to bring in a piece of fruit from home for morning break.
