Tycoon in Schools 2017
A team of entrepreneurs in Heron Class are taking part in the Tycoon in Schools competition for 2017. Last year’s entrants achieved ‘Runner-up’ in the KS1/2 category for their ‘Birdie Brunch’ business which raised £490 for the charity Village Water.
This year the business is called ‘Celtic Creations’. The children are making a range of stationery and baubles, decorated with Celtic knot patterns.
Their strapline is - ‘Celtic Creations, gifts knot to be missed!’
The children will be holding a Launch event to showcase their products and they hope to sell their items at the Christmas fair, in the local shops and at the church fair.
Profits from the business will go to the Dogs’ Trust
